In the Vienna Cottage, a residential area designed by the Ringstrassen-Architect Heinrich von Ferstel, a Villa dated from about 1875 was adapted. With a few constructional interventions, the simple building with clear structures was adapted to modern standards. A leading part in this makeover was the custom-designed furnishing, creating a light and cheery undertone. The parquet floor gives a fluent passage between the bedroom and the bathroom, the key feature of which is the free-standing bathtub, positioned on a stone plate.
