The house expands from its narrow street-side front into an L-shaped structure, whose obtuse angle encloses a garden courtyard to the west. The floor areas decrease upwards in favor of generous terraces. One enters the house through a vestibule that opens directly into the large living area, which occupies almost the entire ground floor. The staircase, glazed on the side, is space-savingly placed along the inner side of the east wall. On the first floor, the bedrooms are arranged facing the garden courtyard. Above that, in the middle of the structure, is a light-flooded “lookout,” which further emphasizes the maximum openness to the surroundings.
