This light-flooded building, an addition to an older hotel, is right by the sea. Shaped as a horizontal block, it is attached to the old building by a lower element. The “cube” features a glass street-sided front for extra light, and also for avoiding the conventional hotel structure with a central entryway. The corridors are suspended as galleries behind the street facade, and the lower levels are connected by an expansive cascade stairway in the intermediate section. The façade facing the sea is spatially resolved by the protruding ceiling slabs: this is where the balconies for each room are placed, with a view of the Adria.
