At this international trade show, Christian Heiss takes part in the panel discussion "Architecture and hotels in teh context of innovation and hotel routine", and is awarded the "International Hotel Application Award" for the project Hotel Daniel.

As the only hotel in Austria, and together with only two other European projects, the renowned design and lifestyle magazine Wallpaper* ranks Hotel Daniel by Atelier Heiss under the Top 12 of the 'Best Business Hotels 2012'.

09/2012 – Hotel Application Award 2012

In the category 'Best Innovative Concept', Atelier Heiss Architekten are awarded the Hotel Application Award 2012 in Vencie for the Hotel Daniel project. Congratulations!

06/2012 – Sculpture by Erwin Wurm on top of Hotel Daniel

A crooked sailing boad at dizzy heights is now the widely visible symbol of the lively urban Hotel Daniel. The complex project is implemented with support from Atelier Heiss Architekten and grubeck artconsulting.

Atelier Heiss ran 101 km at the VCM-Vienna City Marathon on April, 15.
Two thoroughly fit relay teams competed.

The visitation by Austrian Architectural Society attracted a huge crowd. Architect Christian Heiss led the tour around and through the new Hotel Daniel.

10/2011 – 2ND PLACE IN THE STAIRCASE RACE FOR ATELIER HEISS

Atelier Heiss Relay Team wins second prize in the staircase race in the Business Park Vienna.
680 stairs over 35 floors were climbed in the Vienna Twin Tower.

Artist Rita Nowak was invited to design this year´s Christmas card.

The work of art was modelled after a painting by the Dutch artist Frans Hals,
and was created with the entire Heiss-Team in the shell construction
